My friend wanted to take me here. It's her favorite place for an Açaí bowl and other food items. So she picked me up a few hours ago.
Bogart's is a cute little cafe on the end of a small strip mall. It was crowded. We had to sign in and wait for a table. We didn't wait long. The workers were very nice.
There were a lot of food items on the menu. I ended up ordering the Taro breakfast bagel and the Açaí bowl.
They were delicious. The breakfast bagel had cheese, spinach and egg. The taro bagel was soft and g. The Açaí tasted like the original Açaí berry in its original form. Not tart, sour or watered down. The blueberries were plump and juicy. The strawberries and bananas were fresh. The granola and honey were perfect.
Overall, very nice ambiance in the heart of Diamond ahead. The food quality was excellent. Servers were nice. I would return here to try other things on the menu.
Update: I was excited to eat here again. So much so that I told a friend let's meet at Bogart's to catch up. It wasn't that busy. We got seated right away. We were given menus. Then no one came back to take our order. We waited a long time. We finally ordered and then our food took forever. The people who were seated after us got their food. Hmmm... Was our order difficult? I didn't think so. We fiiiinally got our food. My friend ordered ice coffee and waffles. I ordered the spinach eggs Benedict. My food was delicious. Her food was good too however on this day the service was really slow and bad.I was shocked because there are so many workers walking around.
I got my bill. I noticed something on there that I didn't order. I was overcharged. I was going to order a sandwich but changed my mind. The sandwich was cancelled but there was an additional charge on there that was not even on the menu. I was puzzled. I just paid my bill so I asked for a refund. I stood at the counter. One woman said I had to wait for the other girl who could do refunds. Well the refund girl was helping someone else. So I waited, and waited, and waited until I asked, can someone just help me? Finally "refund girl" refunded my money.
I apologized to my friend because of the poor service. I'm not sure why on this day it was so unorganized because there were so many people working.
Overall food was very good. Five stars.
Service was Two stars.
Being overcharged & waiting forever for the refund was One star. -

Bogart's had been my favorite but last time they failed me big time!!
My husband's breakfast bagel order did not arrive for 20min after the plates my sister and I ordered. It is funny cuz when we received our meal, the server said it would come out shortly.
Our plates were almost cleared, I told one of the servers to cancel the bagel and give us the check. Two minutes later, his bagel arrives and again different server was like so would you still like to cancel?? Since it was already made, we took it. But honestly I am not sure if they were too busy (it was past 2pm and the tables were not full), or they just forgot.
The food was good but I am not sure if I am coming back to place any more. I would not recommend this place if you are in a hurry, taking a visitor around, or with a big party (we were only a party of 3). -

The best açaí bowl on the island! It's on the pricey side, but totally worth it--thick consistency, not too sweet, and great size. Also got the avocado & spinach eggs benny--so yummy. Potatoes were extremely crispy and hollandaise sauce had good flavor.
Parking is difficult here and it can get really crowded, so best to go as soon as it opens when everyone else is still sleeping. -

Came here with my nephew visiting from California because he wanted to try an acai bowl. Heard from friends that this place was good! Already tried da cove so wanted to try a new place.
Got here and had to sign in the waitlist even when nobody was in front of us. The restaurant was about 3/4 full when we arrived and we waited 5 minutes to be seated. After being seated took about 5 more minutes before we got water and the menu. Then there was a couple that got seated after us but yet some how they got to put their in order first? Anyways...
Ordered the acai bowl and yes it was very good! Probably the BEST one I had on Oahu. The acai is blended well as it is very very smooth. The fruits are loaded on and the size of the bowl is kind of on the larger side compare to other places. My nephew really liked it since it was his first time trying it. Didn't get watered and was sucking on ice for a while before my glass got filled.
When we were done. It took a while for us to get our check to pay for and leave. It was electronic transaction with a tablet device as I paid for it via credit card. But pretty much the server just dropped it off left and didn't explain how to use it. Had to wave at another server to help us with it. Granted it did get packed, and was busy.
Yes, I want to come back and try the other food on the menu but service needs to be better. If not I rather just do take out. The food does look good when I was watching people get their good.
Service: slow
Parking: hard, very limited small parking lot or street parking. Unless there's another parking lot nearby that I don't know about.
Price: reasonable
Seating: small indoor which is tight and close to others and there is outdoor. -
